1. Who we are
Webbuildr is a custom web development agency operated by Goodwin Holdings LLC, an Arizona limited liability company. In this policy, "Webbuildr," "we," "us," and "our" refer to Goodwin Holdings LLC d/b/a Webbuildr. "You" refers to anyone who visits our website or uses our services.

2. What information we collect
2.1 Information you give us directly
- Contact form submissions: name, email, company, phone (if provided), and the content of your message.
- Project intake form submissions: detailed project information including business description, goals, audience, brand, budget, timeline, and related details you choose to share.
- Client support form submissions: your contact info, issue description, screenshots if provided.
- Client onboarding materials: during engagements, we collect information needed to deliver services (access credentials via separate secure channels, brand assets, content, and project-related communications).
- Payment information: we do not collect or store credit card numbers. Payments are processed through Found (our invoicing partner) and their payment processors, who handle payment data directly.
2.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: pages viewed, referral source, approximate location (country/region), device type, browser type.
- Cookies & similar technologies: we use a limited set of cookies for site functionality (e.g., saving your in-progress intake form) and analytics. See Section 6.
2.3 Information from third parties
We may receive limited information about you from integrated services — for example, if you submit through an embedded form that pre-fills via your browser, or if a prospect finds us through a referral. We do not purchase marketing data from third parties.
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries and communicate with you about potential projects.
- Scope, deliver, and support services you've engaged us to provide.
- Send invoices, receipts, and administrative messages related to your account.
- Improve our website, services, and internal processes.
- Meet legal, tax, and contractual obligations.
- Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
We do not sell your personal information, rent it, or share it with advertisers.
4. How we share information
We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us run the business: Netlify (hosting and form submissions), Google Workspace (email and documents), Found (invoicing and banking), Anthropic and OpenAI (AI chatbot providers for clients who use our chatbot services). These providers process data under their own privacy policies and only as necessary for the service they provide.
- Legal and compliance: when required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights. We will use reasonable efforts to notify you first unless we are legally prevented from doing so.
- Business transfers: if Webbuildr is acquired or merges with another company, your information may transfer as part of that transaction, subject to this policy.
- Your clients: if we build and operate a chatbot or other service for your business, we will handle data collected by that service on your behalf. Our role in that data, and our obligations to you, are defined in the applicable service agreement.
5. Data security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information with industry-standard controls, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), access-controlled file storage, secure credential management via 1Password, and limited internal access to sensitive data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
If we become aware of a breach that materially affects your personal information, we will notify you without undue delay, consistent with applicable law.
6. Cookies & tracking
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- Strictly necessary cookies: required for core site features (e.g., remembering your in-progress intake form via localStorage). These cannot be turned off without breaking the site.
- Analytics cookies: Google Analytics helps us understand how people find and use the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not track you across other websites.
7. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Access: request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
- Correction: ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Deletion: ask us to delete your personal information, subject to legal or contractual retention obligations.
- Opt-out: unsubscribe from any marketing emails by replying "unsubscribe" or using the link in any marketing email we send.
- Complaint: lodge a complaint with a data protection authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

7.1 California residents (CCPA / CPRA)
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act, including the right to know what personal information is collected, the right to delete it, the right to correct it, and the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
7.2 European residents (GDPR)
If you are in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation and equivalent local laws. Our legal bases for processing are: your consent (for analytics cookies), legitimate interest (for responding to inquiries and running our business), and contract performance (for delivering services you've engaged us for). You have the right to withdraw consent, request portability of your data, and lodge complaints with your local data protection authority.
8. Data retention
- Contact form submissions: retained while the inquiry is active, plus up to 2 years, then deleted or archived.
- Project intake forms: retained for the duration of any resulting engagement plus 3 years, then archived or deleted.
- Client records (contracts, deliverables, communications): retained for 7 years after engagement ends, for tax and legal purposes.
- Chatbot conversation logs (if you are an end-user of a chatbot we operate for a client): typically 90 days, unless the client has configured a different retention period.
- Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics default retention (currently 14 months).
9. Children's privacy
Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please contact us at hello@webbuildr.io and we will delete it.
10. International data transfers
Webbuildr operates from the United States. If you are located outside the US, your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the US. By using our services, you consent to this transfer. Where required, we use standard contractual clauses or other lawful mechanisms for international transfers.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, for significant changes, notify active clients by email. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
